No file mixups. You can update their files and even run reports at your remote location. You can stop worrying about who's got the most recent file because the file will never leave your clients' computer. Log on through our secure Web site, and work as if you were at your client's office. No one can access the data but you and those you authorize. QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition 2003 gives you one subscription to a full year of Remote Access at no charge ($300 value1), so you can discover its value without spending a cent.

One 12-month subscription included at no charge, valid for customers who purchase and install QuickBooks Premier 2003 software before 12/31/03. 12 months of service begin at the time of installation of QuickBooks Premier software. More robust integration with ProSeries® Tax Software (New!)
Streamline tax preparation by seamlessly flowing information back and forth between QuickBooks and ProSeries Tax Software (sold separately). QuickBooks automatically assigns tax line items to the relevant ending balances from Income & Expense accounts, and now from Balance Sheet accounts. You can flow the data automatically to the appropriate places in the ProSeries return without leaving QuickBooks. Or, create a new return and flow the information from QuickBooks without leaving the ProSeries application. Make further changes to QuickBooks files; ProSeries alerts you and offers to flow the changes into the return. You'll save hours of entering the same information in two applications, and your clients are assured of accurate returns.

Now you can quickly run customized journal entry reports for specific periods of time without having to customize standard reports yourself. Just click the QuickReports icon on the Journal Entry screen to select the time period you want, and QuickBooks instantly displays the report for viewing or printing.

Enhanced closing procedures
Now you can keep your clients' closed periods closed. Just set a closing date (end of period, end of fiscal year, etc.) in the file and create a closing date-specific password. Run the Closing Date Exception Report at any time to easily see all changes made to transactions dated prior to the closing date.

Improved class tracking (New!)
Now you can track all of your clients' income and expense items more precisely by class. Assign a class to each line item on invoices, purchase orders, customer statements and other forms. Classes can now be assigned to finance charges, discounts on payments received and made, service charges and interest earned. Optional alerts warn your clients when they try to record an unclassified transaction. And you can use the new Profit & Loss Unclassified Report to quickly find entries that are missing class assignments.
